Appointments are required and must be made by phone or in person. You must first see your University Health Center PCP for an evaluation of need for treatment and they will provide a referral to the Dermatology Clinic. Please call your UHC Medical Clinic for further questions.
If necessary, cancel or reschedule your appointment by 24 hours on the preceding business day to avoid a $30 missed-appointment charge.
Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. There is a $36 copay (for fees paid students) for a provider visit to the Dermatology Clinic. If procedures are performed, there are charges for the specific procedures, biopsies, and pathology evaluations. We do not participate as a preferred provider with any insurance plans. The University Health Center provides direct billing to insurance companies as a courtesy.
Prior to your appointment, we recommend calling your individual insurance carrier to determine if and how much your specific plan will cover at the University Health Center for your current diagnosis.
Patients are responsible for any fees or charges not covered or reimbursed by their insurance.
