Celebrate the start of Spring by joining us at the Healthy Dawg 5k fun run/walk on the beautiful rolling hills of the UGA Golf Course. Furry friends are encouraged.
*The run/walk benefits our friends at Java Joy. All runners will have the opportunity to donate/order food from the locally famous Java Joy coffee cart!
Registration: Sign up online for a time to run/walk or Walk-up on the day of the event.*
The number of participants beginning the course at one time will be limited for social distancing.
*Walk-up participants: please note, it may take 10-15 minutes to get you on the course as we will be mindful of minimizing groups on the course at one time. Markers will indicate where to stand in the parking lot.
• All participants will receive a Wellness kit by UMatter!
• Visit with UHC Physical Therapy & Massage therapists!
• On-site participation opportunity to win big prizes!
COVID Safety protocol:
All participants are required to wear a mask until they get on the course.
Socially distance and remain with your friend group.
Sanitize hands frequently - sanitization stations will be available at Check-in and Post-run.
Bathrooms may be accessed in the clubhouse - 1 person at a time.

Our individual wellbeing must be explored within the context of community wellbeing, “the combination of social, environmental, cultural, and political conditions identified by individuals and their communities as essential for them to flourish and fulfill their potential” (Wiseman and Brasher, 2008). In other words, in addition to building skills for supporting your own wellbeing, you must also be invested in the wellbeing of your community to experience lasting and sustainable change.
