Sexual Health Helpers of UGA is a group designed to keep sexual health advocates of UGA informed and updated on upcoming events and programs sponsored by the University Health Center's Sexual Health Education program. The mission of the group is to raise awareness about safer sex within the UGA community through campus-wide programming, and to act as a student-comprised advisory committee for the Sexual Health Education program.

Annual campus-wide events Shhuga helps out with include: Sex on the 50-yard Line, World AIDS Day, Sexual Responsibility Week (which includes National Condom Day), Step Up!, Dawg Gone Healthy Day and Safe Spring Break.

Shhuga is open to all students regardless of year, major, or time commitment. There are no by-laws, officers, or dues. Meetings are generally held at the University Health Center on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings once a month. Come when you can, help when you want; what unifies the group is simply a commitment to the cause.

To learn more about Shhuga join the Facebook group "UGA Sexual Health Volunteers" (must have a Facebook login to view). Pictures from this year’s National Condom Day are featured along with announcements regarding upcoming meetings and events.
