Welcome to the myStudentBody.com at UGA Information Page
UGA is excited to bring to first year students and transfer students myStudentBody.com (MSB), an interactive online alcohol program. Completion of the MSB FIRST YEAR alcohol course is a university requirement, which can help make your college experience a safer and healthier one. This requirement applies to all first year and transfer students who have not turned 23 by the last day of drop/add for undergraduate courses (1000-5999). (View the academic calendar.) If this requirement applies to you, please note that you will not be able to register for courses until you complete the MSB FIRST YEAR Alcohol course. Before you begin the course, please review the information, letter, and resources below.
Dear Student,
Although alcohol abuse does not present a problem for most students, high-risk alcohol use is an issue that affects the entire campus community. Since most students favor activism and prevention efforts over negativism and disciplinary action, the University of Georgia is always looking for innovative ways to enhance our comprehensive alcohol education program, which promotes low-risk alcohol use among members of the UGA community.
The University of Georgia is pleased to offer the MSB-Alcohol component of the myStudentBody.com comprehensive college health suite, a research-based initiative that is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). myStudentBody.com: Alcohol provides personalized health information, interactive tools, and coping strategies that are up-to-date and scientifically accurate.
Completion of the MSB-Alcohol FIRST YEAR course is required for incoming students.
Course instructions follow this letter.
