Marijuana is the most widely used illicit drug in the United States. When smoked it causes the user to feel relaxed or “high.” Marijuana is most popular among those 18-34 years old.

Marijuana is also mixed into foods or used to brew tea.

Marijuana does up to five times the damage of a conventional cigarette due to fact that smoke is held longer in the lungs and is unfiltered.

Marijuana smokers typically may have the same respiratory problems as tobacco smokers.

Marijuana reduces the level of testosterone in men; however, it increases the amount of testosterone in women.

Marijuana is a Schedule I Drug under the Controlled Substances Act.
