Mission
Mission: Our Reason for Being
The University Health Center exists to advance the health of students
and other members of the University community by providing:
primary health care,
prevention focused services, and
learning experiences which develop health knowledge and skills.
As a campus health resource, the health center supports the University
of Georgia's mission by participating in research which increases knowledge
about health and student health needs, while striving for excellence in
services that are students-centered, respectful, accessible, and offer
satisfaction and value.
Vision: Our Aim for Excellence
The University Health Center will be the overwhelming choice for
highly accessible, patient-centered health care and education of UGA students
and their families. With our commitment to excellence, we will positively
impact all areas of our campus community's physical, social, and emotional
health. The health center will enthusiastically partner with University
faculty and staff in our shared commitment to provide an environment fertile
with opportunities for growth, development, and learning experiences dedicated
to our University's students.
The ever-changing needs of our customers, and enhancements from the science
and art of medicine and health care delivery, will drive our dedication
to continuous improvement in the quality and value of our services.
